Have had no power issues with my 175 Pro XS 4 Stroke.
I will say my engine came alive when I added the 6 inch jack plate to my Triton. I can really get the rpms now. I'm getting ~5900 to 6000...
How big of setback do you have with that setup, 10" jackplate?
Repair only. I don't see a need for blueprint, thinner blades might equal more speed but easier to bend or get damaged.
I believe it was around $60 or so, I bought mine from European Marine, drop them an email, they will fix you up.
Hi Don,
I purchased the sensor from European Marine, I'll try what you recommended first, if that doesn't work, I'll send the parts department a separate email.
SN 2B597933 175 Pro XS 4 Stroke
I installed my water pressure sensor where my the analog plug and tube was on my outboard.
Got good readings at first, but now my vessel view is reading a...
Was able to run it this weekend.
With my 22 Tempest repaired by Croxton, prop to pad is ~2.75" below pad, I was able to hit 61.5 mph in ~85 degree water. RPMS were around 5800.
It is hot down...
Lifetime warranty on hull to first purchaser, then I believe it is transferrable to the second owner as a 10 year warranty.
I'm just going to use the master power switch. I ordered a fuse block to run from it and 50 ft of 8 AWG. That should do anything I need it too.
Couldn't find a good waterproof relay that came...
That's true too.
I might just run power to a fuse block then have room for each graph....
I'll figure something out...
The whole point to all of this is so that when the main power is cut to the boat, it is cut to everything, I don't have to worry about leaving stuff on.
I don't see it as complicated at all? The sonar switch now is built into the main harness of the boat, I'm not going to try and undo all of the rigging on the boat, what a mess that would be.
I...
Didn't notice any cavitation or blow out. Seemed to run great. I need some more seat time at this setting though.
As far as water PSI, my digital sender has not arrived yet due to an error from...
The power/ground side of the relay would go directly to the battery.
The relay is simply a switch controlled by another circuit (the one already built into the boat) the power/ground and...
The above info is with my current 21 tempest.
I have having some issues with my graphs that I believe are related to the stock wiring on my Triton, I have them both hooked up to the terminal boards that is controlled by the main power switch and...
Was able to run the boat last night at ~2.75" below pad. I can hit 6000 rpms pretty easily now at 60 mph. Hole shot seems to be very good too. I think I'm going to send of my 22 tempest to get it...
I just finally got my motor mounted on the last set of holes. I have it set currently at 2.75" below pad. I'll try to get out and run it this week after work with my 21 tempest and report back.
Discovered something tonight in the garage. I didn't realize how big these 4 stroke motors are. When I mounted my jack plate I used the same holes that were used with the motor on the boat. There is...
Yes, I'll report back. Supposed to be rain in the area over the next couple of days, but I'll get tot play with it some this weekend.
I'm doing the same testing for my setup currently.
I have a 21 tempest plus and a 6 inch rapid jack.
I'm going to try 2.5-2.75" below pad and see what I get. I also have a new to me 22 tempest...
What prop to pad are you running with your 18 TRX?
I'm trying to get mine dialed in.
I'm still running a 21p for now, but I do have a 22 on the way. I think I need to raise my plate up, but I'm waiting until my water pressure sensor gets here before I go up anymore.
Ultrex has definitely changed the way I fish. It is a worth the price and I know that one can be hard to stomach.
No Hotfoot in my boat just throttle control. I've actually never owned a boat with...
I agree the on jack plate, my 189TRX performs a lot differently with one vs without....
Triton shouldn't let them leave the factory without one.
I opted to install it my self as I couldn't see...
