ok i did fuel/air pressure tests .......fuel/air at idle 110/90 5 sec. 100/90 10 sec. 95/90 15 sec. 90/89 ........fuel/air under acc. 108/90 5 sec. 100/90 10 sec.92/88 15 sec. 82/88

ok i finally got a PM-1 battery , new spark plugs gapped to 44 . new fresh 89 fuel. Engine is still missing at idle and have not gained any rpms ......i guess next step is the air and fuel pressure...

Ok i checked volts on my cranking batteries. batteries at idle - 13.08 at red lead on alt. - 13.15 ........with engine at idle ,graphs on,arreator on,i could run trim up and down and volts would...

I dont think sears ships batteries . Ive been trying to buy one all week. If i want one i have to drive over 100 miles one way. They would not even ship it to the sears here........Guess they dont...

It was a new injector and i shouldnt have contaminated anything installing it.... the engine has gradually been getting worse .....but i think i may have an idea on what to check next....Sunday when...

i thought ethanol and water mixed and would show to be milky ....the 10% is as clear as water .....

ok got fuel tester...... I added water to the first line ,then filled with fuel straight out of the fuel line. Shook it up and watched it ,the water and fuel bubbled and then totally seperated...

so i assume you have to use a fitting too screw into the fuel rail ,one on air and one on fuel and run a hose out with gauges on it. What psi range should the gauges be?

I hope its just poor fuel or bad spark plug .......i think i might be in over my head on the rest...

now im confused i thought air was injected along with fuel on the dfi engines????

Does anyone make a gauge kit you could install too monitor your air and fuel pressure all the time. Also how do i go about hooking my hds touch 12 up to display readings from engine rpms,water press....

i can lauch anywhere everyone else can. the rims have super low profile tires 295-30-24 so they are not much taller than a 14" with big side wall tires......but it sure does look good....

Im about ready to put an old engine on my boat because i can work on them.......all those old mercs need when they start running rough is a good drink of B-12 in the fuel......

they were suspose to check computer data because i thought it might need to be reflashed but i didnt get a copy of it nor did they say anything about it.

Ok i had a shop close to the Dallas area [not naming names] work on my engine for rough idle and lose of 400 rpm at wot. They did compression check which was 115 to 120 on...

I have never seen anything close to these shots with my 997
