Thanks Jim, I know the gas spring is upgraded within that mount, just wanted to make sure it would lock into place when deployed with just a mega 360 on there

Looking for some helix 10 knobs…

So I had to take my trolling motor off to get something fixed…hooked my mega live back up, turned the screen on to make sure it was working ok.


Noticed the mega live transducer was very warm…....

The first set of units I had were .18 the two brand new ones I got were .37

Were you still able to share waypoints?

I did…updated both units with a hard reset and same deal…

Yea the map card always works fine with the unit it is in whether the Ethernet cord is plugged in or not. It’s probably not that but at this point I’ve replaced Ethernet cord, bought brand new units...

Having same issue (Two HDS Live 12s) not being able to share navionics card and 2D freezing. If I unplugged my Ethernet cords both units would act fine (no more freezing), just obviously can’t share...

I got one of the senior techs from Lowrance and she recommended doing the 23.3 update then a hard reset….I did that with both units, but still same deal.

The only thing I haven’t replaced yet is...

Just did soft reset, worked until I took the card out and put it back in now won’t share maps again. Seems to be sharing waypoints fine though

The map sharing keeps going in and out...

These are both brand new out of the box..still do a reset?

Could it be the navionics chip? They aren’t sharing waypoints either though.

Update: just got two brand new HDS 12 Lives and they are doing the same exact thing. Pretty furious to say the least. I know my Ethernet cord works as I tested it on my friends boat with two live...

yes they share waypoints…honestly at a loss

Might have figured it out…think I got sent the incorrect cable. Is this an extension cable instead of the correct Ethernet cable?
