Shhhh! Top Secret around here
The hundreds of thousands of employees that work for UPS and the big 3 Auto know it's a better financial decision to have a union than to not. Amazon, FedEx, Tesla, and Volkswagen all see it as well.
The union has negotiated better pay and benefits that they would not have gotten at the company they worked for and that is clear as day. Could they have spent thousands on a college degree and...
There is a reason why the employees of Volkswagen, Amazon, FedEx, Starbucks and many other companies to come are wanting to unionize. They see the union employees of other organizations making...
For example If Volkswagen offered a better deal than the UAW deal there would be no union needed.
He wouldn't have had a pension at all if not for the union and very likely wouldn't have made as much money to invest in his 401k
Ya you are...You're speculating that he would have had a better retirement and pay at whatever company he worked for if there was no union. That's simply not true. Over half the population retire...
Once again you're missing the point. If the company he worked for would have voluntarily offered a better pension and benefit plan there would be no need for the union. The union improved his...
Well Volkswagen thinks there is a need.
I thought it was a great race. The stands look full as well
What they want and what they get is two separate things. I've been at UPS for 20 years and can count the number of times I've been off under 8 hours on 2 hands. I averaged over 11 hours per day...
Not propaganda if its the truth. If you had a choice of companies to work for you'd choose UPS... or you'd make less money at FedEx
I posted facts bud
Business Management
FedEx Drivers average $23 per hour no pension and have to pay for their insurance. UPS pays $44 per hour with pension and insurance. We have long haul feeders making nearly $200k per year so if...
I'm very happy. I just wish I wouldn't have wasted nearly 50k and 4 years on a worthless college degree.
Income is worth what you can negotiate. In this country we have the legal right to collective bargaining and have for the better part of a century
If she worked for the union her higher wages would have allowed her to not only pay for 2.5 hours of union dues a month but likely stick several hundred more dollars monthly into a 401k
Can't speak for everybody but I'm in the top 10 percent in my state. Regardless he likely made more money at that company because of the union negotiated wages. Very few non unionized employees...
You must live in Mayberry lol.
If Volkswagen didn't want their workers to unionize all they would have to do is match or exceed the UAW contract.
Why not pay the workers a better wage and better job protections when you know they have the legal right to unionize
Are you stating that the company he worked for would have payed him better with better benefits and a pension if the union wasn't there?
Yes
My union negotiated wages will allow me to retire comfortably in 5 years at the old age of 45. I'll have a pension paying nearly 80k a year plus a 7 figure 401k... all thanks to the union
