I have the same setup and run a Mercury Tempest 25p. It's good out of the hole and nice top end.

Found my timer control on ebay from a seller named SkeeterTom.

I own the same with a yammie 150. Love the boat! Should price out at around $8000.

Just installed a nice fail safe backup system to my starter battery. Because the rear deck of my 97 ZX-185 makes it difficult to get to battery's while on board, I needed to find a good alternative....

I didn't bother changing them since they were is fair condition and thought they would only look good for a short time with under water abuse.

BASSCAT7 has it right. A high speed buffer will work much better. Just remember to keep it moving, especially if you are using wool buff pads. You may need to use at least two different compound...
