Good deal! :thumb up2:
Carpet removal is a job!!
Its about 30lbs heavier when you consider the weight of the 3L plus the 3 gallons of oil in the boat. Not enough weight to notice, especially if you switch to lithium.
Kevin, you might check with Matthew Pate at Custom Creations Upholstery, He is down your way and does an excellent job on custom seats for Bullet.
It was built off the XB21 2 seater for one of our customers. He drove down and they built the kit to fit.
I believe the 2+2 center box is slightly narrower. Geoff, text me some measurements and I...
Its all about center of gravity.
Yes, you can see a loss of performance when switching to lithium batteries, but you can get it back plus some with a setup change.
You are looking for a small 4 pin plug that comes off the MM harness, not the J-Box.
At the J-Box you should have a 10 pin connector labeled gauges…this is the main connector from the engine...
Different strokes for different folks....and this is why we have choices in life.
I do feel like that most are quick to turn their nose up at the Allison XB-21 because it says Allison down the...
That shouldn't make a difference, the system link gauges typically work regardless of the gateway settings. Do you have the system link gauges plugged into the MM harness system link port?
You're welcome.
If they are all Smartcraft System Link Gauges, they are fed off the Merc Monitor Harness. I would start there and make sure the 4 pin connectors are all good and clipped in. The system link gauges...
I believe I have a several cases of the race oil on the shelf if you need it?
225 PXS should run decent, the V8 TM should be fine to 85-88 mph without issue, we have ran it faster but I dont recommend it due to safety concerns. The 250R would be my pick due to the sporty,...
The Zuki will give you reliability but the gearcase will be a challenge on a 20' Bullet to setup properly. We are a Zuki dealer as well.
Sounds like Calvin Reynolds, He had a 21XD, 21XRS, XB21, Stroker, and probably a few more since then...He was changing boats like underwear there for a bit . Apples to Apples the XB-21 is...
What is your end goal? The zuki is a nice engine but its really not the correct engine for that hull. The gearcase will make propping a challenge and will be capable of running faster than the...
Not true
I had one break running around 85 mph, definitely gets your attention. Just remember toe hook, pull back on it
I will shoot you a PM to discuss.
Thanks!
Yes, that is Aron Pitre's 21ss (Suk35). It is now owned by Brian Woody in E TN.
