Thanks ruudawg. Had a blowout coming home on Sunday and broke the wiring coupler on the rear trailer lights. Figure it is a good time to update lights and wiring.

Can you tell me about the light package you used? Where purchased, ease of installation, etc.

In order to get to any of the drain, bilge pump, etc. you will have to drain and uninstall the fuel tank. Been there done that on my 171.

Haven't had any problems with my '00 171 SC fuel tank but I changed the fuel lines several years ago and only run non-ethanol gas.

Put a 150 four stroke on my 171 recently. Still dialing in, waiting on a new prop. Very happy with the change so far!
