I use the DI Mega Chirp frequency on my helix 7. It's mounted on the bow. Does anyone know how to determine the diameter of the cone? I know the 2d sonar has specs on their 83khz and 200khz...

I have a new motorguide 36v digital tour 109 trolling motor. Twice now it has just quit working on the water. I reset the breaker back in the battery compartment, turned the foot pedal switch off and...

I was reading some threads about ways to free possible sticking piston rings. I understand using quickleen and quickare is a good preventative measure and I have...
What are the fuel pressure readings on a healthy engine after turning the engine off in 5 second intervals? Does it hold 90 psi?
Just out of curiosity, when someone does the fuel pressure test on a healthy engine using the 5 second rule, what are the proper readings? Is it supposed to maintain 90 psi for the entire 15 seconds?
I did the fuel injector test with the rails pulled back but I didnt use the cardboard. I just looked for signs of fuel. I will try again with cardboard. If pinching off the fuel line had no effect...
I pinched off the fuel line that goes from the high speed pump to the top of the port rail and I also pinched the bypass line that has the check valve. Neither of them had any effect on the drop in...
It wasn't the fuel pressure regulator.
I pressed the air schrader valve when the system was pressurized at 80 psi and there was no notable liquid fuel coming out. I'm just running out of places to look for such an extreme loss of fuel...
Can fuel pass from the fuel passages to the air passages through all 3? Tracker valve, fuel regulator, and air regulator? In your experience which is most commonly the cause, from most common to...
Here is the diaphragm. I am not sure what a bad one should look like but this one doesnt look defective to me. There are no signs of holes or tears. I do smell gas in the air chambers of the fuel...
Thanks for the input. I am going to pull the entire fuel rail assembly and I will inspect the tracker valve. But for my own education, doesn't the tracker valve control the 10psi pressure...
If the tracker valve were leaking, where would the fuel go? To the air chamber in the rails? And if that were the case, would fuel drip out if I removed the lower air hose that connects both rails?
Im thinking about the amount of fuel that has to escape the rails when the pressure drops from 90 to 10. If all that fuel were escaping from a punctured hose or where the hose attaches to the rail it...

I use quickleen and quickare, but I am going to try replacing my tcw3 premium plus with the racing oil.I spend about 100 days on the water each year so if the racing oil works I should see improved...
I did the test as described on this board. I used 2 different gauges. The second one is brand new. I replaced the teflon seals and o rings in all the direct injectors. I haven't done a leak down test...

I pulled out the bypass check valve and I must admit that I really don't know how those work. I understand a simple check valve that allows fuel to pass one direction only but this one must only pass...
Im reading page 3B-99. It says fuel injector test. A simple test is to connect a pressure gauge to the fuel pressure test port and turn the ignition key on. (Prior to making this test, prime the...

My service manual says to put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail and turn the key on to activate the electric pumps. The pressure goes up to about 40psi and...
It sounds like you're saying it's not meant to be adjusted. I wonder why the service manual has an adjustment procedure. Is it possible the roller is worn and a new one would close that gap?
Do you have a part number for a specific flywheel holder that would work on my engine or will pretty much any one work?
