I don't know if this would help but when I scuff a bait that has detail that will bleed through the whit I just shoot it with opaque black first then cover in opaque white takes two coats of white...

All depends on what you want to invest you could start really low or you could spend about 250 and be pretty happy for awhile

I've never made or used any of the but would a bb swivel work instead of the two connecting splittings?

On predatorbassbaits, his site shows to use 4.5mm eyes for the dt16. As for the storms good luck, have you found a blast k or repainted the original?

Really did get tired of painting baits this winter! But I improved on a lot of patterns and learned some new techniques. One color in the picture is edgewater's color "copper candy" (I believe) not...

Bluegill patterns tend to be more red eye because they just go well with it IMO. When I do a shad color bait I stick with the silver or gold. I use solid black on my craws.

Ugh I guess I'll have to buy the createx clear.

Can anyone tell me why I'm getting this crackling effect only on some baits and not others. They are all getting heat set before dipped but some are fine and some look like the pictures. Thanks

When dipped in the gst I'm assuming you want the baits to hang tail down that way there isn't a thick build up on the bill. Any info would be helpful. Thanks jim.
