Check that little plastic T in the fuel line. Mine was cracked and sucked air. Caused similar issues.
You buy the whole clear part. Last time I did it was about 8 bucks I think.

Check the plastic "T" that comes from the oil pump to the fuel line. Mine was cracked at the junction of the 1/8th line and only leaked a little oil, but would not keep a hard bulb or allow long...

XD-50 is the old RAM OIL, and does have Carb-X in it. I run the XD-50 but I use about half the recommended Carbon Guard.

Most of the 22SS/225 Rudes I have seen run about 66-67 with a 25 gade. You might need to raise the engine up.

Most leaks are around the livewell intakes at the hull or from the livewell hoses leaking into the boat.
You better check out the warranty, I think Genmar decided no warranty on boats older than 2000 and only 5 years on newer non-Genmar hulls. I may be wrong....

I always have my Costas strapped on. I tighten them up when I start the big motor, and loosen them all the way while fishing.
