Thank you. I just found that old thread you are referring too.
I just bought a 2009 20x3. It’s a duel console boat. Can the passenger side console be removed? And if so, how easily? It looks like there are only three bolts holding it on.
Ok Triton guys, I need some help. I am currently running a 2000 Champion 191 which I'm looking to sell this fall. I've been looking at a Triton but I don't understand the differences in the HP's,...
Awesome, thank you!
Ok Champ guru’s, what’s the difference in a 198 CX, 198 DCX and a 198 Elite?
Needing some setup help, specifically propshaft to pad and prop pitch recommendations.
Well, the issue has reared its ugly head again. This past weekend I was at Fort Gibson Lake in Oklahoma Saturday and Sunday. Saturday my engine shut down four times on the way back to the ramp,...
While you have the cowling off, also check the wire harness on trigger. Mine is doing that exact same thing that you are describing and the wire harness on the trigger side is completely...
Update: I installed a new ignition switch, changed batteries and cleaned the female side of the cannon plug (there was a lot of grime build up in the holes). I had a tournament on Saturday and did...
Thanks. I'll let you know if that was the culprit. I don't think it's the ECU. Because I can hear the fuel pump running when I turn the key on and every time it shuts off, it immediately starts...
The key switch I have has 10 wires coming out of it. The part # you gave me only shows 6 wires. Will it still work?
It has molded in wires. How would I go about replacing the kill switch?
I have a 2000 200 EFI serial number OT103364. It has been shutting off at random times especially now that the weather has cooled down. It will shut down at idle, half throttle and wide open...
Well, after reading multiple posts on here about the problems with the 2000 and older Champs with the Baltek Core Transoms, I decided to pull the dreaded metal strip on my 2000 Anniversary Edition...
Going with the rebuild obviously. I am actually a little relieved. Had $3000 stowed away for a rainy day so it looks as though I'm only gonna be out $500 or so. Only good thing is that its winter...
Just found out I broke a ring in the #3 cyclinder.
$3500 for a complete rebuild or $6500 for a remanufactured OEM powerhead from Mercury.
Ok, I have a 2000 191 25 th anniversary and after reading this post got a little nervous. Pulled the screws and metal strip and my transom and it is solid as rock. No signs of rot or "sawdust".
...
Ok, I wondered if thats all they did was just slap a Stratos sticker on it.
We watched Skeet, KVD, Ike, Guy Eaker, Mike, Biffle and a few others fish. Its amazing how some of these guys could...
Went to Ft Gibson today to watch the pro's and saw Skeet and Mikes new boats. I thought Skeet was still fishing out of his old champ, but it had "Stratos" on the back where the ChampioN emblem would...
is the fuel line bulb staying hard?
You should be able to get more out of that rig.
I've got that same boat. With a 200 efi I run 67 or so gps w/2 guys and full tourney load. If you are running a 150 then you are probably close to getting what you are gonna get.
Are those RPM's correct? Is it possible you could be down a cylinder?
Thanks for the replies. I feel a little bit better. There are no brown stains around the jackplate bolts on the inside of the rear compartment and the transom is solid as a rock. I think I will do...
