Ok all back to normal, whew! Also figured out where the draw came from that drained the battery.

So here’s what we believe to be the case.

the battery was drained so far down the charger...

What’s the advantage of the SSR HD kit over the older style? This HD one is a PITA to remove from the prop, in process of experimenting with a few different props.

Put it in gear then back into neutral. I had that happen to me once. Just never clicked all the way into neutral.

Would be cool if you could just remove it from screen in data overlays. Pretty much useless in TM applications. Only time I could see anyone needing it is if you mount it on one of those side mounts...

This new location on top worked! Not a single disconnect in 3 full days on the water. Obviously it disconnects when motors off for awhile but not once while running.
