Look between the VST and Intake (Fuel Management). There's a stop screw that can be accessed as you were told (LONG flathead screwdriver).

And disconnect/check those battery connections. Always start at the source....

Replace the o-ring/seal on that reservoir (at a minimum). May possibly be other seals involved as well (very unusual to find that particular one loose arbitrarily).

Not based on their color. Direct injectors (regardless of color) are extremely expensive, and are a high-mortality item (especially where carbon, debris or metal fragments are involved).
