I run a pro-xs 2s and a lithium starting battery and it works flawlessly as well as many others.
You can buy lithium’s as factory options...

I would absolutely go the lithium route.
Not only is it lighter, it is much smaller.
As much $$ as you have overall in batteries, going to straight lithium’s at your next battery change...

You can choose lithium batteries as an option on both Nitro and Ranger boats.
If there was a chance of causing problems with the Mercury, I would hav to think that they would halve caught it before...

My question was more around space. With the 4 batteries in there now, there isn't a ton of extra room. I think I could squeeze another battery in if I had to, I just wanted to know if anyone else...
