    I have used some of the vinyl glue with success before. Use the type that literally melts the vinyl together not the plastic goop that you have to heat.

    the taper is fairly easy to obtain by simply elevating the tip when you are turning the rod during drying. You just add some extra expoxy in the arera http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif

    nothing wrong with Wheel weights at all. Used them to make lead bullets for years. with a bottom flow furnice


    Trick is to use a flux and remix the lead,tin and atimony together that's in wheel...

    water in any cylinder is easy to spot form the plugs. The offending cylinder's plug will look like it was sand blasted CLEAN

    in general they are great little trolling motors.

    Not sure what lbs that model is but it's at least 45 I'd think. The model # is most likely BF4S . these were made in the mid 90s and it's 24volts...

    get a cheap air stapler from harbor freight


    we used one to replace the skins on our 362 and it worked fine on the glass form.

    if you don't have an air compressor find a friend who does....

    titebond III is the way to go as Rush said


    II works ok but III is really ewasy to work with and dries quickly
