Comes with everything you need in the box.
Is it a good deal? I'm not far from Manitoba! :CDNSalute:
According the the press release for the Mercury Connect, it needs the UHD. https://www.garmin.com/en-US/newsroom/press-release/marine/garmin-announces-support-for-mercury-marine-smartcraft-engines/

Fishin Couillon is correct, however if you’re adventurous, any standard computer network hub should work, but you loose the waterproof connections and such.
I do not have one as of yet so I can’t confirm, but from the blink codes section of the install manual:
“After the sonar module is installed, it turns on when the chartplotter is turned on. The...
1) A couple reasons I went with the GPSMap over the Echomap series beyond the screen resolution:
Faster processor - whether that is actually noticeable is probably debatable, but to me it made it...
I haven’t had either, so I can’t help you there beyond I’m sure you’ll be happy with either one. The 32 has been the standard and it’s not like it got any worse because the 34 came out. However, if...
Yes indeed! You’ll be able to select whichever transducer you want wherever you want. Show all 4 if you want to squint at the same time if it tickles your fancy.
Navionics is owned by Garmin. Think they bought them a few years ago. They incorporated some Navionics data into their previous mapping software, but have just released a new set of maps with the...
Looks like Garmin just released new software for the GPSmap and Echomap series.
Biggest highlights I see is the use of the new Garmin Navionics+ Mapping and Ghost Reject auto setting.

That’s my thinking as well, but unless I’m miss reading the gentleman I quoted is using a switch.
If you're a guy that wants to record their screen to show off to buddies or post to youtube. The GPSMAP series allows you to record from ActiveCaptain using helm.
If you could figure out how to catch the fish from there you'd have it made!
I'm curious, in your above configuration wouldn't you not need the switch? 93sv and Livescope both into the 106sv?
It's my understanding that standard network cables (Cat 5, etc) will work just fine, but are probably best as temp or for testing as they don't have the nice Garmin waterproof ends.
They will not share anything outside of their own family group.

The chartplotters listed will only share with other devices...
If you wanted to go even cheaper, you can use standard network cables or build your own waterproof ones by buying Garmin’s network ends.
not sure I’d want to go either route, but nice it’s possible.
Quickly looked up the Ultra’s voltage requirements in the specs part of the appendix. Looks like it’s rated for 9-18v so you won’t be hurting it.
The 56 will not work with a GT8 with the y cable required for the Echomap series. You can only have one 2d source for them, but it may work with the GPSmap series. For instance I could plug a gt56...
Is this the y-cable you have?
I don’t see the dual beam being listed as one of the compatible transducers.
Most install the GT8 or GT15 with the GT36.
As said above, you’re short one network port. You could network all three, but wouldn’t have a spot to plug in livescope. Your options are to replace one of the 94/93s with an ultra or go with the...
