Can a humminbird 997c connect to a fortrex sonar with adapter?

Thank you all for your help.......had a 'duh' moment and tested the pump with a battery I have in my garage only hooking up the pos and neg.....pump ran constantly whether the float was up or down so...

I was too...Took it to the local shop and had them do a full shake down...new fuel lines, compression check, checked reeds, etc and all was fine. It may be more like 5 mph on speed loss
