SAME ISSUE WITH A BUDDY OF MINE, TURNED OUT TO BE CHAFFED NMEA WIRING UNDER FRONT COWL OF ENGINE, WAS ROUTED WRONG AT RIGGING

I just recently developed same issue. Mine has a rough idle and Boggs when getting on plane now, top end is still good tho. I changed spark plugs and didn’t fix it. Mine has almost 200hrs on it....

I HAD THE SAME ISSUE WITH MINE, A BUDDY OF MINE ALSO HAD SAME THING. THEY COVERED OURS UNDER WARRANTY THO. 2 THROUGH BOLTS HOLDING THE CASE TOGETHER ISNT NEARLY AS STRONG AS THE FORTREX

I flush mounted a HDS-12 on 2016 520..... only issue I ran into was during rain or water from the waves it effected the touch screen, had to lock out the touch screen under those circumstances.

I ordered the software from Sergey (head of the kgb) thru a trump connection I had..... worked like a champ! He even sent me a bride at no cost. For $110 an hour I’ll diag/repair your evinrudes.

I used the accessory power to power up the icon..... had to hook in the harness with the splitter to power up both.
