Look on the bright side it was only your trolling motor that was backwards. As I reported quite sometime ago my whole POS (2015 189trx)was wired backwards including the circuit panel.

Awesome!!! That's the way it's supposed to be when you spend $30,40,50K or more.
And you know what your boys at Triton did about it... NOT A F thing!!! Didn't even reply to my extremely polite and professional emailsssssss. So it will continue every chance I get.
Your're going to get a tongue lashing for saying TRUTHFUL bad things on here about a Triton. I really ruffled some feathers speaking the facts on the "quality control" forum.
I got in trouble for it a few posts back.
Your "Triton bashing" ! That is now a no no in the "Triton Quality Control" thread. :stirthepot:
Can you blame me? This will be my last "Triton bash".
Everyone except Triton.
I will say this, if these 10 pages of QC issues is not enough to make you think twice about buying one I would love to have some of what your smoking. I'm sure I could quit my job and sell the stuff...
My boat is a 100% floating disgrace!
The circuit panel was installed upside down and all wires were connected to the opposite connector that they were supposed to be. The boat was wired backward. For what it's worth I think I paid...
LOL!!!!!!! I'm not even close to being sure how to read any logic in that theory. I'm thinking the thought process behind buying new is so you can keep it long enough to "outrun" the hit. But maybe...
Your in a "Triton quality control" thread. If you don't want to read about quality control issues about a triton I suggest you stop viewing this thread. Here is a twist... I can't afford to take a...
Lets put the finishing touches on this...
The Mercury 150 4 stroke that I got on this gem, you guessed it BOOM! 47 hours and #3 rod and piston (both pieces left of the piston) through the side of...
I'm not sure if your bashing me or not. Just to clarify, as I said above, my dealer has been GREAT to me. I blame every bit of my pain on TRITON.
Thanks Hawk! I must admit that I have somewhat created some of my own heartburn by being 3 hrs from my dealer (closet one to me). That problem has compounded itself three fold because of all the...
I guess I have no idea how to even approach that conversation with them. I sent Marty an e-mail stating the only way to satisfy me at this point was to replace it and he contacted my dealer and had...
Absolutely amazing. Got the new replacement switches hooked up and NO LEDS!!! Floor light that the 2 wires spade connect to light up but no LEDs on switches. Switches do work. Lost my cool this...
Thank you sleep. I am going to fill my CPAP up with Helium just so I don't get the urge to light this thing on fire while I'm on my back working on it.
I wish it were that easy. The ones on these boats only have 2, one on top and one on the bottom. The top one is absolutely not visible because of the wiring and the fiberglass bracing. Just one more...
I just got around to installing my replacement switches in my 2015 POS 189TRX. I have two questions for someone that has already done this. 1. Are the switches supposed to be lighted? 2. How in the...
BEAUTIFUL boat Hawk! Man I hope you have good luck.
Exactly. Part of my failure to "pursue" my issue with Triton was that I am 15 hours from their factory and 3 hours from my dealer. I just can't bring myself to miss that much "life", work and $$$$$...
Yeah, everyone I fish with told me I was a fool for not demanding a total refund or at the very least the option to purchase a Ranger or Stratus replacement. It just isn't my style to do that as I...
I suppose I better climb under mine and see how bad it looks.
