I have the same issue now as well.

I have the same issue now as well.
Me too. It really is a nicer boat than the L.
grout-scout, can you describe what graphs and transducers you're using in the pictures you posted?
I just upgraded my Carbon 12's and SS3D to the latest firmware. I haven't had the boat out yet,...
The C boats have better console switch locations.
On the C boats, accessing your switches while you're actually fishing and walking around the boat is much easier than it is on the L boat.
The...
C boat has the better console button layout than the L boat, in my opinion.
I used to lift mine up from the tongue quite a bit.
I'd estimate it had about 100lbs or so.
If you notice the boat sways a bit while trailering you can try to add more tongue weight. That will...
I hope it will be.
I drop it off for service in 2 weeks. I talked to their mechanic. He implied that if Ranger wasn't able to provide a longer hose then he wouldn't know how to fix it. :(
I...

Definitely no zip ties or other things kinking the line. The line goes straight from the union to the fitting on the tongue.
This is with the tongue at 90. The line is already stretching.

Does anyone else have this issue?
2017 Z520C
If I fully extend my swing away tongue, the brake line gets extremely tight. I can only open the tongue to about 90 degrees safely. After that, it...
I thought the motor weights used to be posted on the Ranger website.
I recall the Pro XS being significantly lighter than the Verado. I'm guessing the Pro XS is also lighter than the SHO.
I'm in the midwest with a 2017 z520C, Pro XS 250, 8" atlas and no power poles.
I'm running a Fury 4 24p with all holes completely open (this is important).
With full gear, full livewells and 2...
I have a C and move around my boat a lot. Having the aerator controls and other switches on the left of the console for me to easily access as I go to/from back/front or front/live well make it super...
I was in the same boat, heh.
I could NOT get the 3D double connector wires through any conduit, or open space through the inside of the boat.
I actually ended up running my 3D black cable...
I run a 24p Fury 4 on my 520C w/Pro XS. It is absolutely great out of the hole and all around. Top speed is 70mph fully loaded. I'm taking it off and putting on a 25p Fury 4. I will keep the 24p as...
Please don't do it.
Here's a short video that explains why:

I grew up power loading. It's how I was taught. I was educated a few years ago about the...
True.
Please don't power load even with carpet. It damages the ramps. It's also illegal in some areas/lakes/states.
Please help educate fellow boaters about this. I've seen videos on youtube...
One thing to note on the L boats is that all the console controls are on the right side of the steering wheel down by the seat.
If you're moving around on your boat, the C controls being on the...
cxp138, good point. I mentioned it in a previous thread but forgot to mention it here. The trailer to lower unit mount works against you if your boat to trailer straps aren't tight enough to...
tjbev, I think you're giving some bad advice.
It's good that you have observed different methods and compared the results. I think you're missing a bit of the physics understanding to take it to...
Not a fan of moving all the driver switches to the lower right.
On my 520C, the switches on the left side of the driver console are pretty convenient when moving between the deck and the livewell.
After all that work, you might be limited to a rod box that is only 6' deep... basically unusable for modern era rods.
On my Z520C, I leave them all open. Works good.
Interesting that this is such a problem on the newer boats.
I'm not sure what we did to our '84 ranger, but, I haven't had this issue in 25+ years on the '84.
I also used a transducer shield and saver jack plate mount. No way I wanted to drill holes into my boat.
The hardest part is running the wires. Because the wire is so fat, and there are 2...
