I had a 97 209 and yes it is 1600. I pulled it with conv. van and it did a great job up and down the east coast.
I would look for a good used 225 opti.

Its called Paradise Harbor I eat there a lot when on the Harris Chain Of Lakes . (www.paradiseharbormarina.com) Its a nice place with good dock for the boats.Food is good and BEER is cold....

I have run my Gambler on Lake Champlain in very ruff ruff water and a lot of boats could not keep up with me. We also have lakes down here like The BIG-O, Toho, Kiss. And try to run the St. Johns...

I have a 97 209 with a 225 Super Mag on it. I run a work 26p and it gets me right up on plain. Also put a foil on the lu its a big help.
