Does anybody have a similar rig? Curious what your motor set up is. Mine has a 6 inch jack plate. It has a 25pitch tempest. At 5500 rpm, I am running 55. Is that normal? Any help would be appreciated.

It is GPS. I am going to see if adjusting the jack plate makes any difference. The xri's are 5800 rpm.
It has lift. When it's not trimmed up it wont do 55. Maybe the boat is just too heavy.

My skeeter also has a 6" jack plate. What kind of top speed should i get on this rig? I might have gotten spoiled in my pantera classic. She will run 54 at around 5400 rpm. Would a lower unit issue...
The boat is an old wrangler(15'1"). What would be the best pitch and best type for this application? Thanks for any help. I believe i have a 19 3 blade on it now.
