Shellback, yes save the data "just in case". if it is on an exisiting lake, it will be one in 1-3 days. if its a new lake, it can take longer. A lot more detail on SonarCharts with all the recordings...

mossback... you will want hot maps premium or nav+. Gold is more great lakes, rivers and saltwater/Coastal. Hot Maps is the freshwater product.

no exactly sure what a Canada and SE Alaska card is... do you have a model number? Sounds like it is a platinum which will not read in those units you mention. Might also want to check your software...

We still have cards in the 2 gig, 8 gig, and 16 gig. depends on the chart. some plotters have limitations.
