It does not do the motor any good if warmed up in Neutral no. 2 and 4 not warming up like the rest.
Would be far better if it could warm up all cylinders in Neutral especially in a tournament start,...

Sounds like fuel, start with lift pumps. Replace with Electric pump. Replace fuel lines and add water separator / in line filter.

Did you find anything that could have caused the failure?
Keep in mind when you rebuild to have that motor balanced, you will be surprise and ask the balancing shop to give you the weights.
You lucky to got that far my 08 series 2 popped at 82 hours. Then its a mischief, not to know what the cause was make it no better. Re Build or send it to have it done.

Was the motor worked on Before?
Those pit marks is from shrapnel getting squashed in the Squish Band and they get there through the transfer port.
If it was run for longer some more pistons would have shown squashed (PIT) marks. ...
I would say the bottom end gave way first that were the piston / bore score come from. Maybe a cap bolt or the bearing first. Luckily those rings did not open that could have been a block.

Correct me if I'm wrong Oil enter at intake after throttle body on to the crank and to all cylinders at same time. Oil pump failure would leave all bearings and cylinders dry. Oil mix in Vast then...
Exhaust port Hight differ as well not sore about throttle body though.
While you at it go 300
Tape the sides up to ported paint should your blade touch, cut them of and turn them around, if used a std 304 Stainless Steel Shank bolt with nylock nut and some Loctite for peace of mind.

Only way to compare apples with apples take to Stock Motors fit with the diferent flushed ECU's and run on the Same Dino under Same conditions.
