There are several levels and types of treatment available for pressure treated wood. You want a heavier treatment level than that used for decks. ( above ground)

I have seen several posts about seat hole covers for the large seat base holes but none for the 3/4 inch holes. Today I picked up some 3/4 inch black hole plugs from Lowes and they are a perfect fit....

Here is where my heart is.....best boat I ever ran.It had a 200 Evinrude/carbed. Yes it will use more fuel than the Optimax but if he takes his foot off it will be manageable.

IMO Not a significant amount of more weight about 2 -21/2 gallons of water in the livewell or gasoline in the fuel tank.
