Curious about the lake also. Have a tourney Saturday and still have never seen it.
Didn't even get to go. Woke up, hooked up the boat, and just before leaving got a call that I had head to work due to burst water line. So had a fun Saturday to say the least. Now I won't have a...
Good info. Heard good things about the lake just never been there. Is it more of a main lake thing right now or up the river arm?
Have next 2 tourneys up there, one Saturday, and one in a month. Never been there, any advise on where to start and what's Workin?
Got a tourney next Sat and need the 360 ultrex conv kit to get everything set up by then. Googled it and can only find it from manufacturer itself but don't want to sell my kidneys to pay for...
Hard to say. Milk usually has around a 6 pH for example. I would think you would have to be in the 5 range and still it would take a good while for any problems to spring up. By no means am I a...
pH will vary greatly depending on the meter / user / calibration / and calibration fluids. I farm almonds and we have to add acid to get a 7.0 pH. After having some " professionals " that gave me...
I always say if the bass arnt bitting I will go try and crappie fish. But then I end up not doing it at all every single time.
On mine I did not like the middle fold down seat ( did not seem stable walking to the back ). I removed the folding part so it is just the bottom cushion that still folds up to access the storage...
Not entirely sure on that model but would imagine that you would be able to see where it was screwed in at. Should be carpeted under though. Why do you want it removed?
I have thrown a 3/4 jigs but haven't got any action in it. May try and downsize to see if that helps. I always find winter hard as I love power Technics and turnin n burnin. I find myself getting...
Wanting to see what everyone out this way likes/ r seeing good results with. I've tried spooning and drop shoting but never really enjoyed them or gotten results. I've been Neko rigging with 6 in...
Point one GPS speed. No lithium just can't justify the price. I did play with weight distribution a little. I moved some stuff to the front more and helped some. Rear compartments only have towels,...
I run a 23 trophy plus (4 blade) . Tourney load 61-62 with way better handling/ response than stock prop and almost instant hole shot.
I have ran 62 at 5790 rpm with the 4 blade regularly. Since changing to it, it's just a all around better ride. Hole shot is instant with 2 guys and tourney load. Turns feel like you are glued down,...
I get 60-61 with a 23P trophy plus @ 5710 rpm. Full tourny load, can maybe sqeeze a little more speed if the tubers would not take over the lake.
Update: Installed a trophy plus 23P with flo torq iv and merc prop ring. WOW what a difference. Hole shot is awesome. On plain in about 1.5 sec. It holds excellent in turns and rides extremely stable...
Perfect. I will give the 23P a go. Thanks for all the help.
Just rechecked. My garage floor it isnt perfectly level, but its between 4.75 & 5.
So going with the Trophy plis, would i go down to 23p or stay at 24p?
Ive really thought about adding a plate. Was just worried about how nose high it may sit ( plus if i get 2 talons down the road ).
Gator- I will double check on the prop to pad this afternoon.
Wanting better hole shot and overall handling. Merc prop says trophy plus in 24-25P. Didnt know of there was a different/ better choice.
2016 Merc 150 fourstroke
Tempest plus 24P
Mounted on 2nd hole from top
Prop to pad: 4.5 in
Top speed: 59-60 mph
Top rpm: 5610
Speed from gps, rpm from mercmoniter. Full tourny load, 3/4 tank...
Im interested to see what you end up with. I have been thinking about trying a 4 blade out on mine, just waiting to get out and see exactly what my max rpm is at currently to figure where to start...
Mine does the same holding about a 1\4 inch of water. I just pulled it out and removed the drain fitting. J\b welded the hole closed and drilled a new hole to just use a plug for draining. Hopefully...
