update: went out yesterday and everything worked. I did not reset any settings. now at first the SI image was trash super dark very hard to see. restarted the unit and its back to normal. not sure...
yeah that's what I thought but I've checked both and sonar is on. I will restore defaults and hopefully that fixes this mess.
bud your not understanding, there is no sonar on the main menu. its gone.
