Which reels? Lews doesn't make a spin reel over $129.99 Did you contact Lews? I haven't had issues like you have but their Customer Service has been awesome (Covid era withstanding)

well said jasonG...I built rods for some years and now design my own builds...I am a long spin rod devotee and use 3000-4000 reels. The guides need a higher frame to match the (1st) collector guide...

I've had experiences with several of the rods mentioned, personally or through guiding clients that brought them....

bought new last May...both plastic step up fenders are cracking where they attach to the Bear trailer...waiting for warantee replacements for several weeks. Anyone have issues like this? :doh:
