I just sold my boat the other week and it's time to get another. Anyway, I found a 97 Gambler 21', with a 05 225 opti. He is unsure of hours and it does have a wrap on it so that is making me a...

I'm sorry..what?
ive noticed when I go full throttle it seems like there is quite a bit of tension at full. Almost feels like it's binding somewhere and doesn't want to let me lay the throttle flat.
92 ProCraft v-180b
its a laser2 25p prop
I'm not home to make sure but I wanna say tempest 25p
I'll take it out again to make sure that's all I'm turning .
my manual says 5k-56k so Im sure I can find those few RPMs
Went out today and on the way back in I went to test it, and I was able to go full throttle without any hiccups. Got it up to 52mph @5200rpm. Did it multiple times to make sure and she opened up all...
Nope battery is in right. Ill check it tomorrow
Ha alright. What kind of numbers should I be looking for?
I have/had it plugged in when I'm not using it so I don't think the battery was low. While it was plugged in and on I turned the master switch off then on and it didn't work. So maybe the switch is...
Left the switch on by accident and came home to a running bilge and lights on so I'm assuming I just need a new switch or something is loose.
I didn't see any loose wires but I'll double check, hopefully I didn't because that'd be pretty funny
Checked: No loose wires everything is connected correctly.
How would I go about checking those symptoms? No I forgot about that part but the time I did look after shutdown it was holding pretty steady around 30-35psi @15sec if i had to guess but I can check...
Just added a ProMariner battery charger and now my panel doesn't work.( Nav/ACC Lights, Bilge etc). Have the leads on the terminals biggest to smallest with a washer and nut but I'm drawing a blank....
Got a gauge on it today.
Idle=35psi
Cruise (3/4 throttle) @3500-4kRPM=20psi
4k+(full throttle)=10-12psi
I do have a video if that helps.
Yea the bulb is fine, just replaced it with oem mercury a month or so ago. Ill have to hit up autozone and get the loaner gauge friday and get some more accurate numbers.
Yea thats what it is, so basically that vacuum gauge won't do me any good at this particular point in time. Yea I replaced everything with mercury/oem. I did test it out with a pen gauge and at Idle...
The vacuum gauge I bought doesn't have the schrader connection. Im curious that since its just a schrader valve can I use a regular gauge to get the pressure from the valve? Or do I still need to use...
Is there a specific place where I need to plumb the Tee in for the tester?
I'll have to look to see what it actually looks like so I can crack them open and clean them if need be. My season starts in a little over a month so Im trying to get all the kinks worked out before...
No I haven't Ill get on it though.. Were you having some of the same issues I am?
I replaced the filter recently when I had the start issue along with the pulse pump, are you saying I need to replace them again? Im trying to get my hands on a pressure tester so I can run trials on...
I used B1 SAE J1527 Low Permiation hose from tank to bulb, then A1 SAE J1527 from bulb to engine. I got some of those mini band clamps to tighten the hose down on the barbs but not so tight to where...
All right I'll try to check it tomorrow, I'm assuming it needs to be under load as I don't think blasting it on muffs is the safest idea. Just curious what are my options if fuel pressure is fine or...
