Yes - I've noticed the bass aren't real big in this canal/lake system.......but still having fun. I've only got a single axle trailer - so I can maneuver around pretty well. I thought about joining...
I know - my wife is already pushing me to sell the ol Triton and get a center console for the gulf...........
Gotta be honest - we absolutely LOVE it down here!! Should have made this move YEARS ago!! The sun, warmth, sun........it's amazing! I've mowed twice since Feb!! Never mowed my grass in...
So you're traveling quite a bit! Unfortunately I am working like 50-60hrs a week - so on the weekends I take the wife and hit that local ramp.
Nice! Where do you fish mostly??
Who?? ME!!!????!! NEVER!!
I don't even know what the alley is?? I've been to BMX boat ramp twice - it's 3 min from my house. Fished that canal system both times.
Hell, I don't even know what the on plane regulations...
Thank you! It's been awhile........that's for sure.
Hey everyone!! Been awhile!! Just relocated to Cape Coral, FL last month.........so curious to see who's around me. Yes, the boat came with us!!! I've already been out a couple times......fishing...
That was pretty interesting. i've had a Lansky system for years - and have always liked how easy it is to use. Glad to see it's right up there with the best - especially for the money. I use it...
YES! I got pulled over by ODNR in my old boat because my numbers went from light gray to dark gray - he stated the above. Before I changed them, I contacted the main ODNR office - who referred my...
Exact same year, boat and motor here - and I agree, you have too much prop.
Running 80/85mph it sure is. Plus I got stuck in traffic for about 45min stop and go, nothing over 10mph that whole time too. I also had 65 miles left till empty when I stopped to fill up. But...
And the dumbazz comment of the day goes to this guy.
I've got a 2013 F-150 with the 3.5L ecoboost engine and it's AWESOME! I absolutely love it. It pulls my TR196 like it's not even back...
You don't want it to - you want it up and out of the water when you're on plane. That way you don't damage or snap it off. You should install a "Y" cable and shoot thru transducer to read bottom...
Mine are mounted in the same area - and mine go thru the rigging boot. Those hoses aren't that big - you should have room.
I just installed an auto-bilge earlier this year and wonder why I didn't sooner. It was super easy to install.....and hard wired to the battery. Now I've got both - but really don't need to worry...
I have an 04 196 and pulled the rod racks out.. Best thing I ever did. I also use rod sleeves (that I made myself) and now it's SOOO much easier to get rods in and out. No more pulling 8 out to...
I also purchased one of those center console storage compartments from bassboatseats.com - and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Best accessory out there, in my opinion. Now I've got a place to store my wallet,...
I installed one on my TR-196.....but the 6 footer. I wanted the switch inside my bilge area, so nobody could flip it when it's tied up at the dock. I installed it in the bilge so it can be locked...
Maybe you could help her out....give her some advice. Like let her know the next time she's at McD's....she could kill two birds with one stone by filling out an application too. Be the better man....
Yes - I watched it when it originally aired back in 2006-2009......and have watched the series twice since then. I've got some kind of sick, morbid fascination with Everest - more so all the bodies...
By layer of fiberglass - do you mean loose fibers that are preventing it from laying flat? If so, just use a straight edge razor and trim them off. or sand it down to make it flat. Mine had some...
