and do you know what the part number is for the new thermostats?
Now is where I stop scratching my head, and ask. Where is the strainer, and how do I check it?
Thank you
My 2001 200hp Optimax is not pissing. I replaced the water pump impeller, nothing. I flushed it with the hose connection and got a bit of sand out. It then started pissing again, buy the next day on...
Thank you all for the advice. I think in the past, the guy at the marina had sold me the gasket kit and the impeller as two separate items. I went to a different marina, and they sold me the kit that...
For spacing the rubber boot above the water pump housing.
I can hear the relays clicking, and I have tapped the motor. I guess I'll put the multi meter on it, and make sure it's got power. I never had any problems with it before putting in the garage for...
2001 200hp Optimax
My boat was in the garage over the winter, and when I got it out, the tilt and trim didn't work. I replaced the relays, and that didn't do it. Any ideas what I should check next?
Thanks dude.
I'm looking to camp this weekend, and I would like to do a little bass fishing on my Kayak. Anybody know a good campground on a river, with good bass fishing? Any help would be appreciated.
Do you still have this for sale?
I appreciate all the replies. My issue is, it doesn't appear Minn Kota makes a 24v Ulterra with a 45 inch shaft, and I pilot link. That's typically the way my luck goes. I have thought about moving...
20 inch transom boat? My boat is one foot shorter than yours, and you think 60 inch shaft is to much?
Did you see my post, about the Ulterra?
I drove for deboer, when they had a terminal in Texarkana. I hauled a bunch of Cooper tires, which looks to be pretty close to Jones trolling motors. Texarkana was one of my favorite places to get...
I have a 2001 TR-20, and it currently has a Minn Kota maximum with a 42 inch shaft. I'm looking at a Ulterra, but the only one anybody has in stock with the I pilot link, has a 60 inch shaft. I do...
Yes there is power on the out side, and the voltage does go up and down when turning the speed knob.
The voltage did not fall. The capacitors look good, and I can hear the relay click when I push the switch.
I think I have found a reason to buy a new trolling motor. Have wanted an auto deploy, since I launch by myself quite a bit.
A big thank you everyone that tried to help. But especially catfan, who helped me get the knob on my meter in the right position. I am showing 26 volts now. Behind the bow plate, and under the pedal....
Yes, it's the same if the trolling motor is disconnected. I kinda figure if the meter is bad, the trolling motor would work. It actually shows 19.7 volts, then goes to 1 volt.
What could be hooked up wrong? The wires are hooked up as they should be. Trolling motor positive to positive of one battery, negative hooked to the other battery, and a jumper going positive to...
It's wired the same as it always has been. And if the breakers were bad, there would be no power to the arrow on top of the trolling motor. I get 12.7 at each battery individually. I even tried using...
My boat has been in storage for a few years and I'm getting it ready to go out again. I just bought two new trolling motor batteries and I've got nothing. I ran the positive cable to the positive...
