Nope. Loop your line back over the star drag collar and slide the cover on. Works like a charm http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
I use StarBrite Hull Cleaner.
Never had a problem with mine. Should just drain into the keel, back to the bilge area. Can you post some pics?
If you haven't already, try moving the motor up (or down) on the transom before you go to the expense of adding a jp. I ran a 16 1/2' Javelin w/115 Fast Strike right on the transom, playing with...
For comparison, in 1998, I sold a 1980 aluminum Bass Tracker w/a rebuilt 40 Merc for $1800. In today's inflated economy, I'd say you're lookin' at a pretty fair deal (providing it passes structural...
Nice. I'd be interested to hear about the recessed tm tray. Did you install that yourself?
Way more solid and stable than your old Tracker, and will tame the rough conditions a little better, but don't expect it to handle rough water like a 20+ footer.
If the boat is all composite, it will have "Composite Construction" stickers on the transom, otherwise there is still marine plywood sandwiched in glass. As stated, 2002 was the last year model...
I've little experience with braid aside from original Spiderwire, and the 'old' Fireline. Based on research, positive reviews, and the favorable comments from "TackleTour", I chose to spool up a new...

Congrats....just the beginning of your adventures. Be safe, and tight lines!!!!!
Unless it's pristine, I'd say half what he's asking.....provided the rig checks out with a qualified mechanic.
Congratulations.
Be safe, and enjoy!!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Seems a little steep for the condition you described. Based on some of the prices I've seen for similar rigs over the last 8-10 months, He'll be lucky to get 9500 for it. Curious as to your comment...
IIRC, that model is rated to max at 130 hp. The 90 will be fine (115 would be better). Expect low - mid 40's for top speed depending on prop, load.
They're fantastic boats.
FastStrike = FICHT????
I'm no Johnson expert, but I believe if it is a FastStrike, it's not FI. I'd touch base with Johnson, and give them the SN#. They should be able to clear any doubt....
I used to own a 95 model (367A) w/115 Johnny FastStrike. It was my first glass boat, and a fantastic rig. I ran a Boger modified 22" Raker, GPS top end of 58 mph. My family and I spent a lot of...
What BC gear are you using?
I throw weightless senkos (5" whacky rigged) on a Falcon Cara 6'7" MH, Pfleuger Supreme, and have no problem getting the worm out there 70' - 80', providing I'm not...
Your engine should turn 5800 rpm at WOT. I would think the 25P would get you there and then some. Might want to post this question over on the set-ups or prop boards.
Look into Aurora Canvas for a...
I use 17# mono.
I don't fish hard jerkbaits much anymore, but I would suggest something in silver/black, or silver/blue for clear water, and fire tiger, gold/black, or clown colors for stained water. I lean towards...
Although I don't have a lot of opportunity to use either technique in the lakes I fish up north, there is the odd occasion around docks, weed mats, and a few fallen trees/logs where I'll pick up the...
