I don't think its so much that they burn very little oil thus increasing the risk factor but rather the etecs are much more effcient using the oil that they do burn thus requiring less...

My dealer programmed my 200 etec for the 50 oil. What beneifts would I see with the 100 oil and does the dealer have to reprogram the engine or is this something that I can do? thanks!
