24 or 25 Fury 4 blade was what mine liked best - would get low 70s stock and 74-75 flashed.
I was just thinking this weekend how precise the Ultrex Quest pedal movements are - perfect for FFS.
Ceramic is the way to go with a ceramic detailing spray - cuts my cleaning time to 1/3 of what it was.
:thumb up2:
Thanks Don - I actually bought the new SSR hub from you. I read the instructions - including torquing and correct orientation on the washers etc. I just pulled the hub and reinstalled it though in...
I’m going to pick up a Fury 4 23P to try - I just put a 24P Fury 3 with open vents on to see how that runs and if the vibration is gone.
Thanks guys - Im hoping drilling a few holes in the plugs will help - the prop has a lot of plugs - 8 so maybe try 1/8” in 4? I’ve got no idea how much of a change this will make. The weight...
I’m running a 21’ Phoenix. My last Phoenix had the same hull with an SHO, now the Merc. Just broke in the Merc over the course of a couple days. Two questions:

I don’t like the looks of that
You'll have no clearance issues - the top of the handle is lower than 8' blades. Also the handle is removable if you don't like it.
I used the automotive PPF film also - inexpensive and works great. I also put it by the passenger rod rack and a few other areas that get wear.

I like mine a lot - only drawback is you have to remove to access brake fluid reservoir.
725 Xtasy I use for jigs up to 3/8 with plastic.
I use 4000 on my longer rods - 2500s on 7-2 or shorter
The width will be the big thing you notice - especially if you keep a lot of rods on the deck and/or have two people flipping or fishing current seams up front etc. Ride is going to be similar but...
I'm running a mix of Garmin 86XX units and HB Apex units (previously all solix). If you have any questions send me a PM. I wouldn't drop HB 360 I don't think that can be beat right now by any other...
I’d get two in parallel. I ran two ionic 125s on my last boat - running two 190s in parallel now. My Ionics I bought from Andy and he is great to work with.
Dobyns Xtasy - Torzite guides.
Just watched a Garmin Guru video saying you should never use Active Captain to update. Just wondering what guys here are doing. I updated my 3 graphs and two boxes recently with AC with no issues.
Great bracket and its nice that you can easily adjust the angle. I’ve got one on each side of my jackplate since I run a bird and Garmin.
CarBrite spot remover - manager of a car dealership showed me this years ago and its really an amazing product.
If you aren't in the open water and waves then 47" should be fine.
Slightly larger quality marine heat shrink crimp connectors will be fine. I used to solder all my connections, which is probably best but I've never had an issue with good connectors and crimping...
