I wasn't to worried about that. I don't think any of boxes were ever meant to be dry storage anyways.

I put mine in the deck they work great.

If its like mine the hole on the mount has a nut welded on the bottom. not sure of the size bolt but I think its probably a 1/2" x 10". It has a 1/2"xmaybe 1-1/2" washer and a 3/4" head on the bolt....

I’m having a couple issues not sure if they are related or not.

first issue my tach is acting crazy sometimes it’s normal other times it shows 6k at idle and just kind of jumps around all over...
