I also have owned and like the x2. However, given their current price I just decided to spend 40% more and get a lithium starter battery. But the x2 is an excellent AGM battery.

See my post from yesterday in this sub forum. My brand new lithium starter battery seems to be showing the incorrect SoC. I’m using a very well known brand. In the thread, Drew/Ionic provides some...
Thx again Drew!
Thx Drew!!! Appreciate it!
thoughts on the quickest way to drain the battery while sitting in my garage?
That’s kinda what I’m wondering. I don’t see any way to manually reset the MillerTech app though.
With the charger unplugged, it shows 13.76 volts.
the battery charger location? It’s inside the bilge area. Super close and the connection leads were not modified/extended by the installer.
Had a local shop install a new charger (Minn Kota 330 PCL) and a MillerTech 135 aH battery last week. When I checked the state of charge via the Bluetooth app, it showed 66% so I plugged in the...
Thx guys. Appreciate you sharing your advice and experiences.
I’m just used to keeping the charger plugged in when the boat is not in use during the season. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do...
Just bought a MillerTech 135 AH starter battery. I am keeping my two Deka wet cell trolling motor batteries for the time being. I read the instructions for the MK 330PCL and it states it’s ok to...
That’s great @78staff. Glad your Ghost is working well now.
thx. I’ll bet it’s a 23mm then.
I don’t have a metric wrench that big, but I’ll bet you’re right in that it’s metric. I did get it snug down though using the 15/16 so should be good for a while until it backs off again in a few...
Thx, but 7/8 doesn’t work - not big enough to get the 7/8 wrench on it. What’s strange is a 15/16 on there seems a tad too loose. I ended up just using a locking wrench and the 15/16 and was able to...

Referring to this pivot bolt and nut. Thx
@tnreb - for the four bolts used for your installation, are the outer-most bolt holes utilized on the mount? Meaning the two closest to the trolling motor prop?
I used all 6 of the supplied bolts for my installation for what it’s worth.
I have not seen any issue like this with my ghost and I’m going into my 4th season with it.
Yeah, definitely good on Lowrance for trying to help you with your mount. I tend to agree with their shared observation- your upper mount is moving way more than mine does and something seems amiss....
That’s one of the reasons I was asking. He really did hammer those fish. Wonder what the norm is for those guys as far as lb test of the braid and also the flouro?
You could hear the line to line...
Curious if they use braid to flouro; lb test, length of leader etc. thx
@78staff - my bad; forgot to include the other thread on this topic. I fixed my original post above referencing post 4 in that thread
@78staff - Check out post #4 in the link below. Sounds like this could solve the creaking issue, although it sure does seem like the upper mount on your Ghost twists very easily.

wow-mine also doesn’t make any sound like that. One thing that seems very different than mine is the top part of the mount nearest the trolling motor head doesn’t move anywhere near that...
I also stand corrected on one thing I posted…I actually didn’t use WD40 on all pivot points. I used trailer ball grease for some areas. So a combo of the two.
my boat is in storage at the moment, otherwise I’d go look at my TM myself. However…I seem to recall installing two Allen screws/bolts to secure the motor to the mount. I also know these can back off...
