Power Pole customer service is the best. Just contacted through an e-mail not expecting a response on a Sunday. Got a fast response telling me they will take care of me tomorrow. These guys really...
I have a Z7 and went power pole. The deciding factor was their customer service. Absolute best customer service I have received from any company. Power Pole really stands behind their product.
Left jack plate alone. Shifted some weight around and hit 62 mph with alot less chine walk. I'm happy for now.
Maybe chine but it is alot more tolerable at less trim.
Before installing my jackplate I always ran at full trim, after jackplate it noses up and acts a little squirrelly at full trim.
WP hangs around 18 psi when on plane.
Speed is all GPS. I'm going to try 3" next time out. I always trim all the way down on start off. When up on plane if I trim all the way up I lose a little speed after the boat noses up.
I tried 2-3/4 P2P before but my holeshot was pretty bad and my speed still wasn't there, about 58mph but my RPM's were up around 5600. I failed to mention that I have the plugs with about a 3/8"...
Thanks for the input guys, I'm probably going to leave it alone. May bring the jackplate up 1/4" for a test run but if I don't like the results I will put it back to 3-1/4". Sure would love a 200...
I never really feel the boat lift like I think it should though.
3-1/4 Below pad, about 18 on water psi. Took it out again today, water temp at 74°, I hit 60 gps.
So you think I am running about right for the water temp?
I am trying to break 60mph, ran boat today and at WOT I am at 5200 rpm. Max out at 59 mph. If I try to trim up all the way it starts noseing up and at my highest trim the rooster tail is only about...
Has anyone played with prop pitch on a Z7 with 150 EFI? I'm playing with my setup and I have a 23p Tempest Plus. I just put on an 8" slidemaster running 2 3/4 BP, 18 psi wp, 5600 RPM, 62 GPS in...
Power Pole has the absolute best customer service I have ever dealt with and I don't just mean in boat parts, I mean the best out of any customer service I have ever dealt with. I have called them 3...

How do I contact Don Weed?
I went ahead and ordered the 8" slidemaster with a holeshot plate. The main reason I am installing it is to mount a power pole. I was looking in the set ups and saw quite a few people installing the...
Has anyone used the NMEA 2000 gateway with a Lowrance gen 2 touch? Do I have to buy a smartcraft or merc monitor?
Yea I have the tempest, I've been reading that the psi should run 15-17 at WOT is that right?
Have any numbers on your setups?
I will be buying a slidemaster jackplate soon and need help deciding between 6" or 8". I have researched and called around and haven't found any good info. Any input would be appreciated. The boat...
Just curious about your set up, I am also running a 2009 z7 with a 150 efi. I plan on installing a jackplate in the future but haven't decided setback yet.
