They can be cleaned up with some fiberglass work and rubber matting. You will probably regret the addition of the pod as it is always in the way with no real useful function.

The pod is worthless. It's halfway between a double console and a single console. Its more in the way than useful - especially on a 19' boat. I ordered my 2012 Z519 without it. There is a reason why...
