Minnkota has a setup that charges the trolling motor battery while the outboard is running .
75 and 90 are basically the same motor..... My buddy has had a 90 hp for about 4 years now and hasnt had a single problem out of it.... its quiet and has plenty of torque.

the steering is very straight foreward. medium crescent wrench, 9/16, 1/2, maybe a 7/16th.
Disconnect it at the motor, follow it up and make sure no one has zip tied any wiring to it. Take it...
