I've had an H18 (115 sho) and a x19 (175 sho)... with both boats I found the Yamaha t2 and sho prop's (21p for the 175) were ideal... and I played around with props and setups a good bit. I would try...

I’m looking to order an xpress hd16db after just selling my x19pro. How long going through a dealer should I expect to wait?
Clarks Hill, Russell, Hartwell are all in there. I went to Russell a few weeks ago with the new cmap and everything looked great..... until I got on the water. They need to do more quality control,...
Posted this a while back, thought I would paste it again here
Let me share some stats that might help you and others get more comfortable with the top end performance of this boat/motor combo......
FYI check out the cabelas or basspro near you. I’ve been checking the last couple days, it typically says out of stock for online order or ship to store BUT noticed today local store stock changed to...
Sure am glad for this post. Happened to mine this past Saturday in the big bass tour. One search on google and this thread was the first to show up, clicked on video and fixed myself within an hour,...
I saw them actively mapping on Murray back in March, I’ve seen on another post that it may be late May, my bet is July.
Let me share some stats that might help you and others get more comfortable with the top end performance of this boat/motor combo... which I mean this with hopes to help others be content and not to...
Not really, just measured each piece, since there are really few curves in the boat, your mainly dealing with angles.
I had a 2017 H18 that I did, purchased he hydroturf with the 3M adhesive (peel and stick). I went over the the extreme coat with some rubbing alcohol after I cleaned it really well, let it dry and...
I agree with you and I have had similar experiencing at 3.5 ptp and above, they seem to like to run lower. If your running 56.2 at 4" PTP at 5400 RPM with a 23p, your slip is around 5%. If you were...
whats your rpm at when running at 56.2? Or 49.4? With a 150 4” or 3.5 ptp are you getting to 5400 or more? If not then I would say a 23p is too much and need to back down to a 22p. I run a 23p tro4...
what pitch did he send you 22p or 23p?
Welcome to the club of trying to figure it out. I think what I’ve seen is that it’s rare that everyone has the same setup and just need to find what works for you. Lots of x19 with the 175 and a 6”...
Have you tried running 3.5 or 3.75 PTP, just curious if you have played around with the height and what affect it had on performance with that TRO4 22p
thanks man, updated. Rookie mistake
I know.... life is full of surprises, just got to role with them :)
Just putting the word out, hate to do it but got to make some changes financially due to work and 4th child. If you know anyone looking, check out my craigslist link

I would say 7.5 if your using the rod tubes. i took my rod tubes out because I was having to bend them way too much just to get them started in the tubes and the ones to the far left I was struggling...
mine came with a good one straight from the factory. Might want to connect with a local xpress dealer and see if they can get a price from the factory on one for you.
Do you mind sharing your ptp height and what pitch your sho prop is?
unless someone post some amazing results using something different, this is the best advice out there I’ve seen. Probably gonna go back down to a 23p myself and let it be what it is.
I saw that post too, however he later stated that hot weather killed his performance and runs a 23p Tempest now and runs closer to the 62 range. I can’t find any post who says they run consistently...
