Congrats! The 9-series were great boats (and still are).
Ah gotcha, thanks!
Maybe I'm reading this incorrectly, but it sounds like you're saying that the boat/motor/trailer is right at 20' overall length with the motor down and tongue extended. And then with the tongue...
For some reason, the N-stripe looks "off" to me.
I can't speak for the Z8 specifically. However, the 929 is a longer & heavier boat than the Z-8, and the 225 Pro XS is more than enough motor.
The 929 was the predecessor of the Z-9 and Z-21. ...
Sure, I'll try to remember to measure, and take note of RPMs, the next time I go fishing.
Last week, I had it up to 69.9 (GPS) on Lake Conroe. It could probably get a little more if the weather is right and the lake it glassy smooth.
The prop is a 25-pitch Tempest, and the jackplate...
The Nitro 9-series were great boats (and still are). They are relatively fast, handle rough water well, and very roomy.
I fish a 2008 929 CDX with Merc 225 Pro XS.
All I know is this... Out on the road, I've seen decals for this forum (BBC) on several occasions, either on trucks, boats, or both. I've never seen anyone with a decal for any other similar forum. ...
Yes and no... with my Tahoe, I can open the rear cargo door, and go in through a rear passenger door, climb/crawl through the truck to the back, and in to the boat. It's not as easy as it was with...
I think this is what you're looking for...
Chrome Trailer Wheel Trim Ring, (Fits 5 Lug 14" Wheels), #QT544CLT

Let me put it this way... If Nitro/Tracker didn't make good boats, do you think we'd keep buying them? My family has owned 2 Nitros, '97 800LXS (18'-ish) with Merc 115 and '08 929 w/225 Merc ProXS...
Could be a win-win for everyone.
In that case, get a 75/90 hp cowling off of Ebay, or order new decals for your current cowling, and be done with it. It's not like you'll be breaking any law. Just my $0.02.
I had a '99 Silverado Z71, '05 Silverado Z71, and now a '09 Tahoe 2wd. All with the 5.3 V8. No oil-burning issues, and all were great vehicles.
I traded in both Silverados with well over 100k...
Is the lake public or private? What I'm really wondering is whether the HP limit is a law, or just a rule (from a home/property owners association, or similar).
Woah, very cool. Never seen one of those before!
Good looking boat!
Those wheels look sharp, and very nice boat as well. :thumb up2:
Same here, I keep mine in the vehicle when not in use, and don't want something covered in grease making a mess.
I rarely removed it when I drove Silverados, because usually when I was around the...
I would guess that it's the latter.
2009 Chevy Tahoe.
This works well. Done it several times, to take dealer emblems/decals off of vehicles.
That's because BassCat usually equips their trailers with passenger car tires, not trailer tires.
Just a guess, but if it's still in R&D/pro staff demo, and not yet in regular production, I'd hazard to guess that it will not be a 2015 model. Probably 2016 model year. Like I said, just a guess. I...
