Bad transom… tap the rear and listen for deviation. The bilges probably leak
Has anyone replace their steering hoses? Pulled my motor to rechaulk the holes and accidentally kinked a hose. Assume it is going to leak.

Did you have to pull the deck? My boat is mint other than some one leaving it in storage for 6 years with about 30 gallons of water in it. Local guy wants 7500 to redo the transom and no telling...
