It'll be different for everyone because loads differ. I think i'm at 2.5" below pad on my 200 Pro XL and 225 Pro XS. I would keep doing what you're doing until you lose pressure or speed...

The 06 and before models had an extra storage compartment up front. So instead of one big one, you got 2 medium ones... There was actually more storage in the olders ones.
