Did you unzip the file when you put it on the sd card?
Works with the Onix.
The HB manuals are very well written and personally I would rather wait than have a ton of mistakes to wade through.
It should have auto chose the transducer you have connected. I normally disconnect everything but the power cord. The first unit I updated had only a Ethernet cable and power cable. The Hub was...
If you google Airmar Chirp PDF and you will get all the information you want.
Yes
Onix 8 is 5 inches high X 6 3/4 wide
If you aren't wired straight to the battery that is the first thing to fix.
Reset defaults and when you sync the units make sure you have both of them set to one "master unit". So when the bow...
Unhooked from one unit will work.......
When it really sucks is when you are on a trip and something goes haywire! You will be way ahead doing some digging now
Scab since you really don't know how everything was set up originally I would disconnect the Ethernet cable and reset defaults on both units. Power down and reconnect the Ethernet and sync them...
What transducer do you have on the front of the boat?
Yes
Thanks Wayne!
Ok, I'm learning something now. How do you set that on the 999?
If there is a way to turn it off I can't find it. I have mentioned it to them also.
Thanks!
I would run the 10 gauge to a fuse panel under the console and 12 ga from there to the bow unit. This gives you the option of installing another unit at the console/bow without continuing to pile...
At this time they only share waypoints. The 360 is a Ethernet accessory so it's being "used" by both units not "shared".
Yep!
I really like the Onix.. The combination of touch and buttons is like a core unit on steroids!!
There is nothing wrong with the core units and I have installed several this year BUT I have no...
I don't think anyone here is running the Ion.
The 10 ci will be able to see the Si/Di data from the 8 si through the Ethernet. You will also be able to make any adjustments to the SI/DI through the 10 ci that can be made through the 8si.
Since it works it's a safe assumption you know how to start the 360 pinging. When getting ready to move go to menu and stop it.
Some folks need the screen to stay on so standby is not an option.
Like Bob said isolate everything you can before calling HB. It will put you way ahead of the game if you need their help.
