They probably have the majority of their software staff getting the new Helix models ready.
They are starting to have a LOT of models in the marketplace that need support.
The waypoint sharing was the big thing that was asked for .... I don't expect any more enhancements to sharing between core and Onix .....but we can always hope.
You won't be able to share the GPS thru communications with the 1198 and Onix ..... Only waypoints.
They won't show connected on the Ethernet menu, but should share waypoints if the Onix has the...

Just like display size ...... bigger is always better.
There have been problems with the old 5 ports switch and the Onix......Don't stack the deck against a successful installation.
+1 I may eventually upgrade to the Onix.....but NOT if they go to straight touch and no buttons.

Make sure your download file looks OK......saw posts from someone on another forum that had some bad files for some reason. Make sure they unzipped correctly and are not VERY small size.
