Guessing that 8.53v across the terminals of the starter on a battery that goes 13.03v across the posts means the starter is no Bueno?

So Fred, is there a way to diagnose a starter going bad? If I voltage test at the starter will that low voltage indicate a problem with the starter itself?

How did you diagnose a bad starter? I'm following because mine is starting to do the same thing. Sounds like the battery is dying because it doesn't spin like it used to, battery is brand new and...

ChampionMan had suggested perhaps this was a TPS issue. Would a TPS problem be a possible cause of the Code 57 happening? Or are there other causes that might be looked into.

Replaced the reeds and cages on those bottom cylinders and they have suction like the others, plates opening and closing together, etc... Still no power...

Would a faulty shift interrupter switch cause my 225 Ficht motor to rev completely in reverse but only to 1800 in forward?

Mine spins and starts, I wad just wondering if it had anything to do with spark or computer issues to cause my no power under load issue of it is bad.
