I am a Veteran and did not watch it. Period!!!!!!!
Why does seem ok to steal grease from the place you work for. That's what this thread seems to be about. Shame on you guys.
+1 cheaper too. Can be ordered online.
Attwood hull cleaner, just don't breath it. All good hull cleaners are a mild acid.
I have an on-board charger and I bought a 24 hr. timer. I set the timer for 1 hr.
and it will turn on the charger every day for the set time. I do this year round. I have had batteries last for...
I bought a 24hr timer. After my batteries are fully charged, I plug into the 24 hr timer and set it to turn on for one hr. each day.
I carry a siphon hose in the boat. I have a blub in line and us it to start the prime instead of getting it in my mouth. Once the flow is started the blub must face down and the flow will continue...
If you took the fenders off, replaced the tires with 13" or 14" would the tires clear the boat? Then have new fenders put on that would fit the tires. I have done that in the past but then I can...
You get what you pay for. Aurora now 15 yrs old and still in great shape
Lots of advantages over manual.
As long as the float switch is still good. I have had float switches fail in the past. One was the rolling metal ball type, and the other was a mercury switch. You should check to make sure debris...
Some where the brown wire is touching ground blowing the fuse. What you may have to do is either replace the wiring as a whole or just the brown wire. Look for worn or bare wires where the wires go...
+1
Replace them.......
remember to turn off the power. Remember the black wire goes to the gold terminal, the white goes to the silver terminal, and the ground goes to the green terminal. If in doubt...
I took my pin out (non locking) drilled out the hole for the hitch pin and put small master lock on it. If the lock rusts then I just replace it.
I just have a single 55 gal center mounted behind the seats. Makes it so easy, just put in the amount of gas you think you will use plus a little extra.
This is the way I would do it if I would do it over. You can't go wrong with more electrical outlets.
Doors on both ends make so easy to just drive through.
+1 used this in Alaska, raining and cold most of the time. stayed dry and warm except for my fingers.
If the gears are are slipping then the whole thing should be replaced. But check it out it could just loose mounting bolts. If the gears in the helm are bad then I would look into going hydraulic.
Dings and scratches don't bother me. Major bends and or cracks/chunks of metal missing it goes in right now.
+1 do you have dual steering? If not upgrade, they still put single cable steering on some boats. If you decide to upgrade then go to hydraulic you will never be sorry.
+1 You do not need a torque tab with hydraulic steering. You may just be low on fluid or you have a internal leak in the helm, or the cylinder.
