Problem is, with the SHO outboards, they run best way up high on the Jack plate. And... i am not talking about the trim tab under the cavitation plate but a T H Marine trim or torque tab that affixes...

Do you have a trim tab on your skeg or anything? or is the skeg bent any to compensate torque?

I have a 2012 FX20 and when I am trimmed out, it is like chunkin bricks to turn to the left (port) side! anyone have this problem?

another thing is... the turbo FXP's are smaller diameter than the Vmax ventless props. FXP= 13-3/4" dia. Vmax= 15-1/8" dia. they both are great props. But, IMO the Vmax will carry a load better...

IDK, you should be getting more speed than that turning a 26 at 5900... you may be running your motor too high on the jackplate. Also, are you sure your prop dont have any damage?
