It's a tough one. Better places elsewhere. This has been the toughest spring I've ever seen for shallow water fishing in all of our lakes though.

There are about 20-25 lakes within and hour drive from high point. Pull up the map and go explore.

On August 17th, 2017 i got to fish during the eclipse, caught over 50 and during the actually total eclipse time frame itself I caught a 7 pound, 6 pounder and a 5 pounder on consecutive casts.

Hands down the best sports month of the year. Championship week(this week) is probably my favorite. I’ve been in college basketball heaven for about 5 days since the conference tournaments started....
