Phones blow up while charging.... better not leave them plugged up an night....
Then why have the option to do so?
2d replaced with hdsi
I've seen it in action a few times, at the dock and on the water while bass fishing. Wasn't impressed either. Our 2 club members that bought them said they are returning it. It may be a good idea for...
Two of our club members have (or are in the process of) returning their units for the same reason. Maybe it's a good product for someone stationary and fishing crappie, but it's not so good for bass...
Had the same problem. I now start up the units while the network hub is off. Once the finish starting, I turn on my accessory switch powering up the hub. Once they connect via the network. The map...
Humminbird warranty should be longer! At least 3 years!
Did this problem just start? What prop pitch? 3 or 4 blade? Water pressure at blow out? RPMs and GPS speed at blow out? Hydraulic jack plate or manual? Current PTP? Does it occur regardless of weight...
I have to do it too. In about 4 ft of water and the solix units displayed 300+ ft. Then double bottom at 6 to 8 ft (but displayed 15 ft). Finally appeared right at 10 ft. Shouldn't constantly need to...
Lol "sufficient"....
I got the choke too. I didn't need to use it.
6 ga to 6 channel blue seas fuse box, 10 ft. Solix 12 mega SI and Hexix G2N SI Mega at console. Cut factory wire as short as possible to reach the fuse box. Ran 10 ga to bow (about 10 foot) from fuse...
New power cables for the Solix units. This 18 gauge stuff is crap causing many people to run heavy gauge wire to their console. The power wire for the units should be at least 14 to 12 gauge!!!!
Just go to 6 gauge wire
I'm using the MK-3DC. I also have a 3 position switch that connects one of my TM batteries to the cranking battery. 1 for cranking battery, position 2 for TM battery, and position 3 for both...
He is referring to the title of the component.

I fixed your diagram. You're missing the wire from the main engine (you know, the component that generates power) "key on" signal that turns on the MK Alternator - when the engine is running....
Why are you supplying power to the #2 TM battery twice on the bottom diagram? I wouldn't suggest doing that!
You do realize a motor alternator is not the same thing. Right??? You're not actually adding another "alternator" with the MK Alternator. It simply transfers the 12V power to the TM batteries at 10...
Why do you keep mentioning this? No one said the MK Alternator generates power....
Have you used the "paper weight" on your boat? Or are you too another assumption critic?
Another critic on a product they've never used...
BS. Not true. How long have you been using your MK Alternator in your boat? Do you have a volt meter installed?
I mounted a solix 12 in my dash that's why I got the star board.
Off subject, but what map are you using?
